Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 11:19PM How shall i start this? Its been a long road....
Smacksoft at DGBD in Hongdae. All kinds of epic things happening here.
Back Stage Before Pentaport in the ready room. This is during the tail end of the "Horrible Illness Month".
I was going over "Sunshine" so i didnt fuck it up on stage like i had been dreading. (I did ok)
Onstage later that night

Recording in Gangnam later that month. It was shitting rain, in fact I think that was the night of the Typhoon that hit the west coast and Seoul. I was nervous, it was a big shit studio and it was my first time with this new band and basically you sit in the sound room under a solitary lamp and play and everyone hears you but you hear no comments, just faces....eesh. ( i did ok...again)

aaaaand an awesome shot in the room (Thanks Bokyung!!) I was using a Fender Twin Reverb. Not the amp of my choosing but it sounded pretty good with the Blackstar Pedal.

Fast foward a few weeks. This is from this morning from the I Am the Blade recording sessions. This really was such a good time. Relaxed, calm, just plain fun with two of my favorite people. Here are the amps ive been talking so much about but sadly i only brought my M13 (effect board) not the whole team (it weighs a ton). Anyway...on to the photos.
I was late and Stuart and MJ were in this cafe ive been wanting to check out. Super nice, nice barista and really flavorful coffee and muffins.
Heres the view from Buam-Dong....im really jealous Stuart and MJ get to call this area home.
MJ's cafe/kitchen/lounge/studio
shameless amp display
aaaaand rig (for the day)
and thats my essayish thing. i hope you enjoyed it. Im really tired. But in closing...ive set aside a few days next week for Citizen Lusca stuff...im jazzed.
and in closing...my sleepy cat Uyu
